Clark and Lana team up to take down Lex, and discover, through an Isis Foundation patient, that Milton Fine is still alive. Adrian, one of Lex’s experimental patients, plants a bomb on Chloe, threatening to kill her if Lois does not get Lex to admit that he is cloning humans. Lois confronts Lex, and, after Lois is knocked unconscious by Lex, it’s revealed that the patient is a failed clone of Lex’s brother Julian. Adrian also reveals that “Grant Gabriel” is the successful clone. Chloe, fearing that she will die, confesses to Jimmy that she was infected by the meteor rocks. In the end, it is revealed that Bizarro has been posing as Clark the entire time, unknown to anyone else, with Clark trapped at the Fortress of Solitude.

Clark hears his mother’s voice trapped in Kara’s crystal, and releases her. She gives him Jor-El’s ring made of Blue Kryptonite, which strips him of his powers.

Lana absorbs Clark’s powers during a lightning storm, which she uses to break into Lex’s safe and steal some incriminating evidence. After being turned away by Grant at the Daily Planet, who won’t accept her stolen evidence, Lana goes after Lex herself. Clark tries to rescue Lex, but must first battle the super-powered Lana

Kara goes to Washington to look for her missing crystal, but is captured after she breaks into the lab. She’s interrogated with a memory-revealing serum that has kryptonite in it, which makes her relive a trip to Earth from the past. In this past trip she followed Lara, Clark’s biological mother, to the Kents’ farm.

When a movie is shot in Smallville, Clark is forced to secretly use his powers to save someone from a runaway car… but somebody is looking and becomes Clark’s biggest fan. Meanwhile, Lionel’s fate is revealed.

Chloe learns that Dr. Curtis Knox (Dean Cain) has a surgical cure for those affected by meteor-rocks, so she sets up an appointment knowing a side-effect could be memory loss. John Jones shows up at the Kent home and warns Clark that he cannot trust Kara. John explains that her father, Zor-El, attempted to assassinate Clark’s father. Clark is told to find Kara’s crystal before she does, but he is side-tracked fighting Knox who is attempting to take Chloe’s heart and transplant it into the woman he loves. Lana uses the $10 million she stole from Lex to buy surveillance equipment to spy on him.

Kara takes to life in Smallville by entering the Miss Sweet Corn Pageant as a contestant, overruling Clark’s objections. However, Lex takes an interest in her and three of the other contestants discover she has super-powers and decide to use her to steal a valuable time capsule.

Clark and Lois meet Smallville’s newest arrival face-to-face, and she has some surprising news. Clark decides to leave Smallville and continue with his superhero training but Jor-El informs him that a new Kryptonian menace has arisen.

During Clark’s battle with the last Phantom Zone wraith, Lex is rescued by a mysterious woman. Chloe is declared dead in the ER, while Lois goes to Lex’s manor to find out what experiments he was conducting at the dam.
